Dear Mummy, it’s a very exciting review this week for my #triedtested. At last an item of clothing to review and I’ve had so much fun wearing this pretty dress from Tiny Tots Togs.
I met them at the Baby and Toddler Show at Bluewater in April and was instantly drawn to their stand. So many beautiful dresses I couldn’t pick a favourite. I love their concept as well. A reversible dress, that can be adapted into a tunic top when the child grows up. Tiny Tots Togs is a Scottish Company run by a mother and daughter team. They make crossover pinafores, princess dresses, petit skirts and quirky hair accessories. Katrina was taught by her mum how to sew when she was very young and they used to spend afternoons being creative. The patterns they use to create their dresses are from the sixties.
Infact Katrina’s mum Lorayn used to make the same dresses for her daughters to wear when they were my age. A lovely design passed down through generations. I can’t fault this dress. It’s well made and has no restricting seams so it will grow with me and I will get lots of wear out of it! The level of craftsmanship is excellent and I had so many lovely comments when wearing it.
It’s definitely worth the £25 price tag! The dress my mummy bought me was their best seller a pink/purple Tartan reversible dress, my Grandfather was a Scottish ‘Cameron’ so I’m sure he will be looking down from heaven with a nod of approval me wearing an outfit reflective of my Scottish roots. As the dress is reversible I get 2 looks in one! I have yet to try out the polkadot side as I love the Tartan too much. The fabric is cotton and super soft. The size I’m wearing is the 12-18 month old dress and I’m a small 15 month old. As you can see from the photos the dress still has plenty of room for many more months to come and is very easy to move around in. This dress is fun, quirky and well made all in all a very good buy from the Baby & Toddler Show! You can visit Tiny Tots Togs website here and share in the fun!
