Dear mummy, you got a new camera for Christmas 2014, a Canon 700D. Makes a change from using your iPhone. In 2015 you’ve set yourself the target of learning about photography and mastering the skill of taking beautiful photographs. It’s something you’ve been wanting to do for years. Posting one best image a week as part of the #LivingArrows project sounds like a great way to see how far you’ve come on with your photography. We can’t wait to look back on this post in 2016.
So here we go… The first #LivingArrows post, here’s to the next 51 weeks!

Oh that’s a lovely photo – and yay for a new camera – you’re going to have a lot of fun with it over the year 🙂
Hurrah for a new camera and lucky you to have a super cute subject! Thanks for joining in with Living Arrows x
What a lovely photo! I know you’ve not had it long yet but how are you finding the camera? I’m after a new one for my birthday! X

Finding it easy on certain settings but would like to experiment more. Having problems with high contrast days and some indoor shots so need to read more and play around with it a little more too 🙂 700D camera is good for a beginner like me, so much scope!
Oh wow, what a beautiful photo. It’s always great to capture smiles and happy faces isn’t it
Yeah! Now mummy can keep up with me and capture it 🙂
What a lovely photo! Tell your mummy to invest in the 50mm f1.8 lens – it’s fairly cheap but one of the best portrait lenses out there. I used mine for years quite happily before upgrading; switching from the default lens to the f1.8 made a huge difference to the quality of my pics.
