Dear Mummy, I’m a massive fan of soft toys and the Star Wars Itty Bittys collection have even got my folks excited. We love Star Wars in this household so couldn’t believe our eyes when these cute little characters landed on our doorstep!
Itty Bittys are small push toys which have a particular shape and style to them. Their little bodies are cylindrical with their heads enlarged. They look a bit strange and quirky but that’s what we like about them. Itty Bittys were introduced by Hallmark in 2015 in the US and have grown to become worldwide bestsellers (think beanie babies) with many collections becoming extremely collectable. DC Comics, Disney Princesses and Frozen have already been released as Itty Bittys and diehard fans have dusted off their display cabinets ready to showcase these new toys. The plush toys stand around 4 inches tall and all have beans sewn into their bases and can stand unaided. They are very well made with no loose strands or fraying and have lovely detail on the fabric. Some have printing, others embroidery and appliqué.
They are suitable for kids (and big kids) and are cuddly soft. Even my daddy likes them (not to snuggle I hasten to add!!) as he’s a huge Star Wars fan! He’s suitably impressed that Lucas Films & Disney have teamed up with Hallmark to create this Itty Bittys Star Wars range showcasing original cast members such as Yoda, R2D2, C-3PO, Chewie and Darth Vader. Even introducing new characters from The Force Awakens like Rey, Kylo Ren, and my mummy’s favourite character BB8. With such a cult following there will be many adult collectors wanting to buy the whole set too. However, forget the adults!! Itty Bittys Star Wars plush toys are the perfect size for my little hands and I was eager to rip off the tags and play with them, much to my daddy’s horror! Well, there goes the resell value….but they should be played with right?!? We were sent Rey, C-3PO, BB8 and a Storm Trooper to review and I thought they were super awesome!
Being like a magpie I was drawn to the C-3PO Itty Bittys plush toy as he is made out of a very bright gold fabric which dazzles in the light. Shimming gold he’s also my mummy’s favourite out of this collection.
It nice to see we were sent Rey and she’s my favourite character from the new films. We loved the little headscarf, robes and embroidered goggles.
BB8 and the Stormtrooper are both mainly printed which is a shame and they aren’t as interesting as other character versions we’ve seen as they have less detail and stitching on them, but they are still a great tactile shape.
Itty Bittys are only £6 and are excellent value for money even my Darth Vader wanted to get his hands on them!! They are perfect for little ones who want to save up their pocket-money. We’re thinking they would make great stocking fillers for Christmas this year! (Yes I did just drop the ‘C’ word).
The Star Wars Itty Bittys collection will be available in Hallmark stores in the UK and you might be able to find them online at Amazon or on the US Hallmark site. But be quick, we reckon they will sell out fast. No doubt they will soon appear on auction sites too for an inflated price! £6 seems too good to be true!
Love Bella X

My boys would love these as they are huge Star Wars fans, although we already have far more plush toys than I can cope with #TriedTested
These are just so sweet!! My little dot would rip the tags off too, but that’s OK, much nicer to snuggle then
These are very cute – I know my son would love them! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
Oh gosh I better not let my youngest see these he is a huge cuddly toy fan and my house is already overflowing with them. I must admit these look cure though I also like Rey 🌸
They look great, my boys are star wars mad and would love these
These toys are so cute and great for any star wars fan big or small.
C3PO looks amazing. I remember when the films first came out way back in the 70’s long before merchandising was popular. It is amazing how films like this can stand the tests of time and still appeal to another generation.
Oooh these look fab – I am more of a Super Hero fan, but am just discovering Star Wars. Ickle Pickle x
I’m a big star wars fan too, they look so cute. I’m happy to see they’ve done Rey, and C3PO looks so shiny!x #bloggerclubuk

I’m not really into Star Wars, but these are so cute it hardly matters, I would still have them just for their novelty factor
