Peppa Pig Princess Peppa’s Enchanting Tower Review

Dear Mummy, there’s nothing I like better than a fairytale. Two of my favourite things in the world right now are Peppa Pig and the fairytales of Cinderalla, Snow White and Rapunzel. This toy combines all of my favourite things! I love watching Peppa Pig and I’m sure a lot of other children in the UK are massive fans too.

We received a Peppa’s Enchanting Tower Play Set to review and put it through its paces. If it could survive a play session with me it can survive anything! The play set is made out of heavy-duty yellow plastic, in Peppa Pig familiar tones, similar to what you would find on other Peppa Pig toys around. Which means it will go well with other toys from the range you may have kicking around.

It has a little catch on the side and is easily flicked with little fingers,  so all the contents stay locked inside and it’s easy for me to carry around and help keep the house tidy for my mummy. My mummy likes that it packs away for easy storage, but could have done with a wee handle. It measures at depth: 140mm, height: 330mm, width: 200mm and sits perfectly on a shelf in my bedroom.

It includes lots of royal furniture accessories and a small articulated Peppa figure dressed in blue, shame it wasn’t pink, as at first I thought it was George!! She could have done with a bow on her head. We liked the four-poster bright pink bed with a little plastic cushion which slots inside. The play set has 2 cute balconies and rotating door, perfect for my Rapunzel storytelling and we love the attention to detail on the inside walls of the play set.

I loved opening up the play set and making my own fantasy stories, the set only comes with one figure though and it would have been nice to have two, so I had to grab another from my toy collection to play princes and princesses with. The play set is scaled for you to play with other Peppa Pig Little Character playlets which is ideal, as we like extending Peppa Pig’s world.

I reenacted the Cinderella scene when she loses her glass slipper on the plastic ballroom steps included in the pack. I cast the flag on top of my castle and spun the ‘magic’ mirror to turn Peppa Pig from a servant girl into a beautiful princess just like Cinderella. We acted out lots of princess stories including Sleeping Beauty and I put Peppa to sleep while I had my tea.

This toy is perfect for Peppa fans and is aimed for ages 3 years and over and will be available at Smyths at £24.99. I’m sure this set is going to make a lot of Peppa fans super happy, it definitely put a smile on my face!

Now quick, I must go and rescue Princess Peppa from the evil Queen!

Love Bella x
