Get super organised with Hair Helper

Dear Mummy, gone are the days of struggling to find hair bobbles in the midst of the school run. No more hair clips stashed at the bottom of your bag, down the sofa, in my toy box, you get the idea! You see we’ve found something that is going to change your life and mine!

Hair Helper Review

It’s called the Hair Helper and it is a great way to organise all your hair accessories, a bit like a jewellery box it displays all my crowning glory embellishments in one place. On my wall. You see my mummy is fed up losing meters of hair ribbons and clips which seemed to go missing in our house. A bit like the missing sock from the laundry basket we never know where they have gone and have lost lots of money on hair accessories over the years. Not anymore!

Hair Helper Review

Without all the hair bands and clips on it the Hair Helper looks a bit odd but it comes to life as soon as you populate it with hair accessories. Ours looks like a rainbow spectrum of colour and we love how it looks with everything on. In the box is a link to the YouTube demonstration to see it in action.

Hair Helper Review

You can add stickers to the frame to personalise the product but my folks and I agree we much prefer it plain. When ordering off the website it’s nice that you can select your ribbon, add stickers (if you want) and frame choices. The Hair Helper starts from £17.99 and you can tailor it to your preference. They have a pink version and white version of the frame and it would be nice if they incorporated some other colours like red or black for more modern monochrome bedrooms and interiors in the future but as the ribbon’s are detachable there’s nothing stopping me and mummy getting creative with acrylic paint and glitter!

Hair Helper Review

We opted for white as it could be put anywhere in our house, however we’d be interested to see whether the white plastic would discolour to yellow/cream in time. We chose pink and turquoise ribbons as they go with my bedroom and my mummy’s room. We like that you can get gingham and dotty ribbon styles too.

Hair Helper Review

It’s really lightweight even with the hair bobbles on and sits flush to the wall, until you add bulky hairbands, so we opted to only put a few on. We like that you can also add a hairbrush clip to the side of the frame to keep my brush nearby (this is also included in the box with fixtures). Overall we’re really happy with this product and love the idea. Excited to see how they move forward with the initial design and there’s so much more scope for an accessories holder like this. It has real potential to be a useful gift.

Hair Helper Review

So what do you think of the Hair Helper? I think it’s genius and such a simple idea. It would be lovely if they expanded the materials and went a bit more upmarket with better finishes like wood or marble instead of plastic, then it would be stylish as well as practical. Still, it would make a great Christmas present this year, especially if filled with hair accessories!

Love Bella x

  1. This is such a cute idea of an organizer for the hair accessories ! I am an adult and I misplace and lose my hair clips and bobbles all the time. I probably buy new once every month!

  2. Love the look if this definitely be handy if we have a girl in the future as i remember as a child I was always loosing my hair bands and clips. Definitely a fab way to keep them all organised.

  3. That is really cool and a good idea. Sylvia is always asking me where her hair ties are so it could be a handy item to have.

  4. We definitely need theses in our house – I get sick of my voice asking the girls where all their hair bobbles and clips are . 100% going to buy them one each for Xmas so no excuses! X 🙂

  5. When my girls were little, we had an abundance of hair stuff. We used to keep them in a biscotti tin. This idea looks great, and certainly helpful. Nothing worth than having clips and bands everywhere!

  6. This is such a great idea, we have all my daughters stashed in a Tupperware box at the minute but it takes her forever to pick which ones she wants on a morning has she has to rake through it all then find the matching ones. This would definitely solve that problem!
