Goo Goo Galaxy Slurp N Slime Goo Drop!

Dear Mummy, something amazing landed on my doorstep all the way from Gootopia! Her name is Bowie Bowheart and she’s crash landed on Earth and looking for a new home. She’s part of a brand new Goo Goo Galaxy Slurp N Slime set!

She’s a cute little Goo Drop alien which comes packaged in her own spaceship and looking for a friend to play with. I was super impressed with the box, with instructions on the back and colourful intergalactic patterns. What’s nice is that you can reuse the box afterwards for imaginative play and rocket off into space with Bowie Beamheart.

But this isn’t just a doll to play with, the Goo Goo Galaxy Slurp N Slime Goo Drop comes with everything you need to make your own DIY slime with 15 items in the box to help you. Inside there are two sachets of powder to make two batches of slime and five different types of glitter and confetti. Watch my unboxing video to see!

The box also includes a cute bowl for mixing, which features a line showing where to add water to, plus a pink whisk for mixing. It was really good fun making the slime and adding the glitter and confetti. However, we had to keep adding water to get the right consistency as it was very gloopy and thick.

Once I was happy with the slime I couldn’t wait to feed Bowie Beamheart and see her transparent body fill up. I had to use a spoon to fill up the syringe, code named the reGOOvinator and feed Bowie Beamheart. A couple of times I had trouble and overshot her small mouth as it came out rather fast (watch our video to see). It caused me to giggle a lot but gave my mummy a heart attack as it landed on the carpet. Thankfully the slime washed out.

It was very messy and the slime kept dribbling out of Bowie Beamhearts mouth so we had to use the dummy, called a Candy Comet, to plug her. It was useful to have a stand supplied in the box to keep her from falling over as I filled up her tummy with glittery slime. But the best bit was the Comet Vomit! When you take out the dummy and squeeze Bowie’s tummy she vomits! It was super gross and super fun. Bowie has a squashy body which is see-through and was easy to squeeze, her hard plastic head was good to grip onto while feeding as well.

Also inside the box was a passport featuring a little bit more information about Bowie’s adventure and some stickers to personalise! I’m going to make my own concoction and fill her up once the ingredients run out. She’s easy to clean and even looks good with an empty stomach. It would have been nice to see a play mat/wipes included in the box for spills and making the slime, luckily my mummy anticipated how messy it would be and we had some kitchen roll on hand. The whole experience made me giggle and the interactive element gave me hours of play though make sure you get your adult to be prepared for a Goo-ey adventure!
