Dear Mummy, the UK Lockdown continues and being stuck in the house is driving me round the bend! So my folks and I were super glad to receive an activity sure to focus our minds on something more relaxing. I was sent some mesmerising Kinetic Sand and it’s a firm favourite in our household.
The Kinetic Sand Rainbow Mix Set (£9.99) includes everything you need to mix and create the colours of the rainbow! With six different tools and three primary colours of Kinetic Sand (127g each of red, yellow and blue) in castle containers, there are so many ways to create!
It was really therapeutic playing with Kinetic Sand and it’s so mesmerising seeing it flow through your hands. It never dries out, so you can play again and again. It’s educational too by teaching me to create different colours from the mixing guide included.
There were some great tools to use including three stamps and a squisher tool, perfect for layering up sand segments into the stacker and moulding. I loved revealing my surprise rainbow creations! Check out my pictures to see what I created.

Playing with Kinetic sand is so much fun, you can create whatever your imagination desires. I love that this set has such colorful colors and comes with tools as well.
I love kinetic sand myself and this is something my kids play for hours on end as something so mesmerising about it. Love that you can shape it into anything you want at all.
I love that the sand is colourful. We had a kinetic sand before but it was just one colour. This looks like a great set. I love the moulds that it comes with.
