Playing Pensilly! The crazy drawing guessing game!

Dear Mummy, I’m still chuckling from playing Pensilly on our YouTube channel (see our video below) – it’s seriously the funnest game I’ve ever played with my folks. It had us all laughing out loud!

If you are looking for a fun family game to play at Christmas this year, then this is perfect! Pensilly is the craziest drawing game and will give you hours of amusement. It is super easy to set up (just add batteries) and you can play it on the go with no mess!

To play the game you simply pick a description card and a subject card and draw one picture that incorporates both words. However, the giant Pensilly pen, wibbles and wobbles uncontrollably making your pictures harder to comprehend. What looks like a simple task ends up being fantastically frustrating for the pen welder and hilariously funny for the spectators trying to guess.

The Pensilly box contains

  • 1 Pensilly Pen
  • 1 minute sand timer
  • 75 Description cards
  • 75 Subject cards
  • 2 whiteboard markers (red and blue)
  • 2 whiteboard drawing boards
  • You will need to get 3xAAA batteries

It’s a shame that the game didn’t come with a cleaning cloth for the whiteboard drawing boards and extra markers, as I can see the pens running out quickly with continuous play (oh yes – this game is going to be played with A LOT).

Love Bella x

  4. I’m bad at drawing at the best of times so I don’t think anyone would be able to work out what I’d drawn if I played this game. It looks like loads of fun though x
