Too tired to blog

Why I’m too tired to blog.

It’s been a hectic couple of weeks.
I’m knackered, my mummy is knackered and we’re happy to let the world past us by for a little while.

Blissfields-2015-Review-32

Having been the life and soul of the party and burning the candle at both ends we’re tired. We did too much over the weekend and certainly lived life to the full!

At this moment in time we are quite content with being passive observers sitting on the sidelines of life. Just for a little while.

The past couple of weeks have seen us taking trips to London, attending festivals and days out to the countryside. We feel broken and energy zapped. My mummy feels she could spend forever in her bed.

This week we are going to slow down, take stock and mong-out.

Do you ever have weeks like this?

Love Bella x

  1. absolutely have weeks like this! sometimes I’m on a roll and its going great, then I get in a bit of a rut and can’t be bothered. All about priorities really and sometimes, blogging isn’t my main one – I want to keep enjoying it, not enduring it #sharewithme

  2. Absolutely. I think modern life leaves us all feeling pulled between work children and friends with no time left to simply relax. I can’t recall when I last read a book! Add blogging to the mix and meltdown is inevitable. Take a break. We’ll be here when you come back! 🙂

  3. All the time. I set myself a challenge of posting every day but some days are much harder than others.
    Ps Such a cute photo.

  4. Definitely a good idea to have a break from blogging and enjoy having some time enjoying the sunshine and just recharge your batteries. Enjoy! x

  5. Mong out!! Love it — I haven’t heard that expression for AGES!! 🙂 And yes, I regularly feel like just vegging!! But so far, I haven’t felt the need to stop blogging.. yet! 😉 #ShareWithMe

    1. We love the word ‘Mong’…something very ‘Meh’ and ‘Blah’ about it. Very vegetable like… 😉 it’s nice to take a couple of evenings out from writing posts 🙂 Zzzz

  6. Yes – all the time! Some nights I fall asleep putting Tyler to bed and wake up in the morning like oops! But I tell myself the world doesn’t end if I don’t blog for a couple of nights. And sometimes I’m just not in the mood to write. I put photos on Instagram and my Facebook pages on days like that. Now get some sleep love! Sabrina xx #sharewithme

  7. We are having a day like this today. I had planned to take the little one to soft play and a trip around the mall but I think this week’s activities, along with the heat, have caught up with us. Very happy to lounge around at home in our pyjamas!

  8. It’s ok to feel that way and have a step back. I have taken two weeks off recently as I really was so overwhelmed with all that we had going on. It’s been busy summer already too but I am trying to take things easier and not do as much blogging as I was doing before we left the UK. Sometimes letting life pass us by is enjoying life to its fullest. Thank you so much for linking up to Share With Me #sharewithme
