Dear Mummy, as you know I am a massive fan of PJ Masks! Last month we enjoyed a PJ Masks Party for Halloween and I love reenacting scenarios from the show. We’ve been enjoying the new episodes of PJ Masks on Disney Junior and I catch them after nursery on weekdays at 5.30pm. PJ Masks is part of my evening routine now and I enjoy sitting down with my folks (as they kinda enjoy it too) to watch my favourite show.
PJ Masks airs daily on Disney Junior and follows 6-year-old Connor, Amaya and Greg, who go to school like kids everywhere during the day. But when they put on their PJ’s and activate their animal amulets, the crime-fighters magically transform into their dynamic superhero alter egos and become the PJ Masks: Catboy, super-fast, agile and cat hearing; Gekko, super strong, able to scale walls and turn invisible; and Owlette, with the power to fly and see great distances.
Recently the TV fun was extended in our household, you see we’ve also been looking at the fun PJ Masks App called Super City Run for pre-schoolers, which is available on iTunes and Googleplay priced £2.29. Owlette is my favourite character and I want to be like her when I grow up.
You can help Catboy, Gekko and Owlette save the day through a series of fun packed interactive games that feature the recognisable theme tune and sounds from the hit animated series. Players can run through the city and help the PJ Masks heroes to find some missing items, but they’ll need to watch out for many obstacles along the way! The game provides a safe environment for young children with no adverts, and no in-app purchases – just lots of super hero fun!
I have to say its pretty cool and easy for little ones like me to grasp. My mummy would make sure I don’t spend too much time on it however (as I’m still very little) and we could enjoy it as a bit of a family battle against each other. I have to admit that my daddy would be rather good at it.
I was also thrilled to watch the new episodes which flew onto Disney Junior last month which I’ve been avidly watching, including a Christmas double episode special Gekko Saves Christmas/Gekko’s Nice Ice Plan which aired last weekend (catch-up also has it listed, so if you missed it you can save it on the planner).
The 11 new PJ Masks episodes have seen the unstoppable trio embark on a number of exciting new adventures. Including:
- Gekko and the Mighty Moon Problem (31st October): When Romeo creates a space laser to carve his face into the moon, the PJ Masks and Luna Girl try to stop him. But, with a space laser, Romeo, his robot, Luna Girl and the moths all causing problems, Gekko feels too overwhelmed to save the day.
- Catboy Takes Control (7th November): Romeo builds a remote that can take control of one PJ Mask at a time and plans to use them to help him build a super remote that he can control everyone at the same time. The PJ Masks have to stop him . . . but first Catboy has to listen to plans that aren’t his own.
- Gekko Saves Christmas (3rd December): Riding her Luna Board from roof to roof, Luna Girl is sucking Christmas presents out of chimneys to keep all for herself. If Gekko can get her Luna Board from her, Luna Girl won’t be able to spoil Christmas – but first he has to get over his fear or riding it.
- Gekko’s Nice Ice Plan (3rd December): With his newest evil device, Romeo plans to ice up the whole city and turn it into a giant ice rink that only he can ride around on. Gekko knows how to stop the villain – but lacks the confidence to speak up.
What I love about these cartoons is that it suggests anyone can be a hero just as long as you do the right thing. With rooted morals at the heart of PJ Masks it really teaches me the importance of friendship, respect for others and kindness. Important for when I start school next year.
I’m super excited to see what 2017 holds for PJ Masks and can’t wait to follow their journey into the night to save the day!
Love Bella x
Bella that sounds like a right fun show to watch and a really fun app to play! You and Mummy and Daddy look very adorable in your PJ Masks, I bet you feel like a hero when you are wearing it!
Sounds like a fun and encouraging game and it’s good that Isabella is time monitored – don’t want to be glued to it for too long lol.
Tyrus and Viggo love watching PJ Masks too, and they both keep taking my ipad, and I find them curled up in their top bunk playing on the PJ Mask games.
I think I might need to check this out before Number One gets older, it looks like a great series. #Sharingthebloglove

Love the moral behind the cartoon, I so miss the Disney channel, used to love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse but now my lad is more MOTD than Mickey.
I didn’t even know what PJ Masks was 🙂
I guess I don’t have a little one to teach me yet.
