Let’s Go PJ Masks DVD Review

Dear Mummy, my obsession with PJ Masks has not wavered and going into 2018 I am still one of the BIGGEST fans of the cartoon. As soon as anyone mentions them I’m straight into the costume and flying around pretending to be Owlette my favourite character from the show.

Let’s Go PJ Masks DVD Review

PJ Masks depicts the tales of Conor, Amaya and Greg who by day are three normal school kids but by night, if the city is in danger, the trio put on their pyjamas and activate their animal amulets. They magically transform into their superhero alter-egos: Catboy, Owlette and Gekko and together make an unstoppable team.

Last year we reviewed the first PJMasks ‘Time to be a hero’ DVD release and we’re super stoked to showcase the second instalment, another fab DVD called ‘Let’s Go PJ Masks’ and it features 6 new episodes! Even though I’ve seen some of these before from Disney Jnr its great to have them readily available to take away to Grandma’s house and when I need a PJ Masks fix quick!  It is suitable for all the family with a U rating and secretly I know my folks like watching the show too! With a running time of 72 minutes, it’s the perfect length to keep me entertained.

One of my favourite episodes ‘Gekko and the Snore-A-Saurus’ is also included. Cameron, one of the PJ Masks school friends, is kidnapped as Luna Girl turns him into a sleep walking human puppet. It was so entertaining that it had me reenacting the episode. As always it’s up to the PJ Masks to work together to help stop the villains of the show.

There’s also another 5 episodes included on the disc along with free stickers and a nice presentation sleeve. Here’s a quick preview:

Catboy and the Shrinker – Romeo and Night Ninja team up to shrink the PJ Masks with Romeo’s shrinker invention. When Catboy gets shrunk, he forgets that even a little guy can save the day . . . if he can use his small size to his advantage.

Blame it on the Train, Owlette – When the new Fairground Flyer Train goes missing from the fair, Owlette is determined to get it back quickly. But if she wants to defeat Romeo’s new super train, she’ll need to learn that a little patience goes a long way.

Looking After Gekko – Night Ninja steals the school bus and converts it into his very own super-vehicle. The Hero’s have to stop him in his tracks. But for that to happen, Gekko needs to learn that asking for help doesn’t make you weak.

Catboy’s Tricky Ticket – Catboy only has two tickets to the Jayden Houston concert and has to decide which of his best friends to take to the show. Owlette and Gekko offer him gifts to sway his decision and Catboy’s newfound greed could ensure Luna Girl ruins the concert for good.

Clumsy Catboy – Romeo wants to take over the world so he has created a machine. The Machine makes everyone clumsy so they can’t stop him. But when agile Catboy is the first to be “clumsified”, he can’t admit it and tries to save the day without any help.

Flair - PJ Masks BeaniesIt seems like PJ Masks is going from strength to strength and merchandise is just about keeping up with demand from this thrilling cartoon. PJ Masks DVD is available on DVD from Monday 5th February 2018 and you can preorder on Amazon for £7.99. We’d definitely recommend it for PJ Masks fans and kids wanting to enjoy some superhero fun. With new mysteries to be solved and lessons to be learnt its educational as well! My mummy is amazed that I still love PJ Masks after two years of it first airing in the UK and that’s a testament to how great the show is.
