Dear Mummy, Father’s Day is just around the corner (Sunday, 17 June) and I have been wondering what to get my daddy. I really wanted to get him something unusual and practical to thank him for being such an awesome daddy. So with the help of my mummy, who was contacted by Hamper.com, we arranged a special delivery for him.
Of course we wanted to show you guys what we got him first. So shhhhhh, don’t show him this! Hamper.com has a huge range of Father’s Day hampers and we got overwhelmed by the amount of choice and variety on their website. Hmmm. Decisions decisions. My mummy ordered The Cider and Cheese Hamper, £36 which was presented in a branded cardboard carton.
We were super impressed about how quickly it arrived through the post. It feels like lots of care had been taken when choosing the products and they all compliment each other. The presentation is good and we like that it is packaged in a sturdy box meaning that I can reuse it for crafting projects at school.

My daddy loves his cider and on a trip a couple of years back to Lyme Regis my folks indulged in a couple of pints of Thatchers Gold Cider and find it hard to track down this side of the border. You can’t go wrong when it comes to Applewood Smoked Cheese and it’s my daddy’s favourite so I’m sure he will be devouring it with the biscuits, jam and crisps. He’s a massive fan of olives too. I hope he shares his Italian herb nuts with me!

Overall we can’t wait to wrap up the hamper and give to him this Fathers Day and it’s great that’s he will actually use it. No more novelty socks for my daddy!
It’s a great price as well for a hamper with so much stuff inside and we’re definitely going to be checking it out for future occasions. There are hampers to suit most tastes on their website including alcohol free hampers, chocolate treats and even fruit hampers. We also like that they all come with FREE UK delivery.

I like the idea of sending hampers as gifts. I did one for my boyfriend recently (with plenty of beer inside) and he loved it. 🙂 I shall check the ones hamper.com offers as well ,for future gift ideas.
