Fun in the sun with Suneez Sunglasses

Dear Mummy, we’re squeezing the last of the sunshine out of the summer. It’s been balmy recently and over the holidays I’ve lost dozen of my cheap plastic sunglasses from the high street, at festivals and on our adventures. I’m always putting them down or leaving them behind somewhere.

So while searching the internet for a solution to my lost sunglasses problem we came across Suneez Sunglasses. The sunglasses come in one size and are aimed to fit 5-12 year olds. They kinda look like mini Wayfarers and we love the design and different colours on their website.

They are sized using 3 measurements; The lens width, bridge width and temple length. Lens Width – 46mm, Bridge Width – 16mm, Arm Length – 130mm. I opted for the pink and turquoise retro design and love the colour ways. When the sunglasses arrived they came in a nifty box with a microfibre carry case that can also be used to clean the lenses and a silicone strap to attach to the arms of the sunglasses.

This is a real selling point for us and although the straps are a little fiddly to put on, they are great at keeping my sunglasses close to hand. I wore them on top of my head like goggles and folded around my neck. The strap is great at making sure I don’t lose them. They fit my head comfortably and didn’t rub behind the ears, or catch in my hair and I was very impressed.

The Suneez sunglasses are priced at £25, so although more expensive than other children’s sunglasses on the high street they make up for it in features. With UV400 Protection, 100% UVA/UVB Protection and polarized lenses, they are certainly an investment and save my mummy wasting money on plastic cheap ones which have flimsy arms and break easily.

I’m hoping they will last me for many summers to come. I’ve certainly given them a good wear already!

Love Bella x

  1. These get my vote. Having the strap to help stop them getting lost will mean you’ll no doubt save money in the long run (I am a great believer in good quality over poor) and having fewer pairs of lost sunglasses heading to landfill or ending up as litter is a huge plus for me. It looks like there isn’t much plastic packaging either.

  2. Im always on the hunt for new sunnies for the kids. I really like the fact that they have a band around the back as well, saves losing them all the time which happens here lots x

  3. Oh these look very stylish, perfect for your little adventurer! Love that they will stay on – mine loses his sunnies all the time!
