Dear Mummy, check out my special delivery from DreamTex! I couldn’t wait to open my new bedding. Christmas time is so exciting for me and with the return of the scout elves causing mischief I’m busy counting down the days until the big man arrives.
To get me in the mood for festivities I received some fabulous Elf on the Shelf goodies including a super soft throw (£7) with elves on. It’s a lovely large throw made out of fleece with a double sided pattern and perfect for curling up on the sofa with. I love the pastel blue colour and the flash of red and its perfect for Christmas. I’m already enjoying wrapping myself up in the throw at bedtime with my favourite teddy, floppy.
I also received a Single Duvet Cover Set (£15) for my bed which includes pillow case and a bed spread with Elf on the Shelf illustrations on. It’s great for making my bedroom more festive this year. I love the candy canes and the elf scene which helps me drift off to sleep dreaming Father Christmas and wondering what the naughty elves downstairs might be up to!
I was most impressed with the Elf on the Shelf Pillow (£8) and it’s going to be a welcomed addition to my den. I’m also going to use it to sit on while I’m opening my Christmas presents on Christmas Day, or in one of my many pillow fights! I’m already using it when I’m reading at night with Mummy and Daddy before my bedtime.
If you are an Elf on the Shelf fan then this bedding set and accessories would be great for you. Matalan stock them but they’ve proved so popular that they have flown off the shelves. Argos still have a few left but also try Amazon. There really isn’t anything better for helping to immerse us little ones in the run up to Christmas and the fact they are about the Elf on the Shelf just sparks my imagination, perfect just before I go to the land of nod.
