Dear Mummy, I’m a massive fan of Disney Junior and a new TV programme which has really captured my attention is Mickey and the Roadster Racers! It features characters that I’m already familiar with from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show. Mickey and his friends participate in high-speed races in their hometown, Hot Dog Hills, and around the world in vehicles that can transform. It’s a bit like wacky races. The first episode aired in January 2017 and I’ve been tuning in ever since.
The familiar names joining Mickey on the track are Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Pluto. Off the track, Minnie and Daisy are busy running a business with which they solve problems for people in need called the Happy Helpers and the new toy range reflects this. We’ve been sent some new toys from the show.
We’ve reviewed the Mickey and the Roadster Racers toys on another post and now its time to look at the Happy Helpers range. Starting with Minnie’s Happy Helper’s Bag Set. It’s an impressive looking box and would make a great present for a child that likes pink and glitter! Fortunately I am one of those girls that can’t resist bright pink toys and was drawn to this straight away.
Minnie’s Happy Helpers Bag Set has everything I need to join Minnie and Daisy on their Happy Helper adventures. It comes with a hard plastic hand bag with quilted detail and a big glitter Minnie Mouse bow with clasp. A bright pink mobile phone which lights up and makes sounds to reveal the next Happy Helpers mission and a wallet containing a pretend passport and boarding pass.
Charms pop off Minnie’s bag and can be snapped into the bracelet for a customisable accessory too. It felt very grown up for me and I loved it. For 24.99 it was a snip compared to my mummy’s real handbag and phone and she much prefers me walking around with my own rather than using hers for role-playing!
