Dear Mummy, we love chatting about brands that have made a positive impact on our lives and Professor Scrubbington is a company that has down just that. We discovered this independent UK brand a couple of years back and had been championing them since.

I love getting dirty and muddy in the outdoors and this year has been full of outdoor adventures in the woods, camping trips and festival shenanigans that have required me to get cleaned up. I don’t have a problem with cleaning or washing and part of that is due to us making it fun and not a chore. Kids toiletries that are easy to use and work great help with this.

Professor Scrubbington’s mission is to empower children to clean themselves and look after their personal hygiene in a fun and safe way. It’s been developed by a slightly ‘nutty’ professor from Oxfordshire, England. We’ve heard he is a genius who has traveled the world on adventures and used his knowledge to help create a range of personal care products specifically tailored to meet the needs of young people (oh and adults!) My mummy likes it as much as I do! From soaps, to haircare and deodorant, Professor Scrubbington’s aim is to help clean up the country one messy face at a time!
Their products are 98% natural with no paragons, colourants or SLS and bottles are solid, easy to grip and manageable for young hands. A full list of their ingredients can also be found on their website which is reassuring for any parent. The magical foam in their products adds a fun element with a lovely fresh fragrance. I like blowing the foam and creating a good lather in my little hands. Their products also contain Aloe Vera which is naturally gentle and moisturising for all skin types. The products smell, light, fresh and wearable for both boys and girls. It reminds me of Issey Miyake L’Eau d’issei fragrance and it is a beautiful, cotton fresh scent which lingers on the skin. It reminds us of Spring.

We’ve only ever been a soap and water kinda family. We don’t cleanse, tone and moisturise (we probably should) so we are always on the hunt for products to make our life easier and fit in with our routines. We’ve been using Professor Scrubbington’s Emporium Of Clean products for ages and both my mummy and I are addicted to the clean smell and the results. It really does get children (and adults) clean in a jiffy. My mummy uses the hand and face wash to remove her make-up in one clean swoop and it works and lasts ages! I like it because I can manage the pump alone, the soap comes out as a foam, I love the fact that it stays on my hands and doesn’t drip straight off into the sink before rubbing my hands together.

As I’m only 4 years old I’m not in need of the deodorant just yet, so my mummy was a willing tester. She applied it to clean skin and it helped her stay fresh with one or two reapplications during the day. It smelt divine and perfect for her handbag and for older kids to take to school. We both use the shampoo and conditioner and it works a treat leaving our hair fluffy and soft.

So imaging our excitement at fining out they are going to launch their kids toiletries in Boots and Waitrose this Autumn. We’ve been buying them online at www.scrubbingtons.com where delivery is free on orders over £10, but its nice that we can now pop down the shops when we run out. It great that they are so popular now that you will now be able to find them on the high street at £3.99 each (with the exception of the deodorant).
The Professor Scrubbington range consists of a pump-action Foaming Hand & Face Wash, Foaming Hair & Body Wash, Bubble Bath, 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner and finally a Fragrant Deodorant. See how much I love them on our short video above 🙂 I really hope you can discover them too and share our joy at getting squeaky clean 🙂
Love Bella x
Disclaimer: We were sent samples of the products in order to conduct this review. All opinions (and bath water) are our own.
It’s great to find an independent brand doing products like this. Even better that they will available on the high street.
This reminds me of when I was a kid and the kind of body care products my Mum would get for the four of us!

With a little one on the way this is definitely something worth checking for our family. Looks like an amazing product!
I love the name the products. Looks like it makes bath time fun which would be helpful to many parents.
Big Sis is very sensitive to soap, so I’m always looking out for kids’ toiletries that are paraben and SLS free. That bubble bath looks fab! x
