Tinsy Winsy Weeny Tots Doll Review

Dear Mummy, I love playing with my dolls, caring for them and pretending to be my folks. Every weekend I wheel them to the shops and take them to Grandma’s house. However my dolls are quite heavy for me to carry around with my little arms and I’m limited to where I can travel with them. So imagine my excitement at discovering Tinsy Winsy Weeny tots dolls which are no bigger than my mummy’s palm!

Tiny Winsy Weeny Tots are realistic miniature baby dolls perfect for putting in my pockets and hiding under my pillow. There are 15 individual dolls to collect all with different life-like expressions, outfits and accessories. This first release is limited edition too and set to become the next collectible craze! Each doll also comes with it’s very own hospital name tag and date of birth so you can find out all about your new baby addition.

The dolls have a hard plastic head, hands and feet with a soft padded body a bit like a beanbag. No details have been spared and my mummy was impressed with their facial expressions and their miniature outfits and accessories. The stitching was neat and tidy and fastenings with velcro.

I spent ages getting them dressed in their tiny outfits as it was a bit tricky for little fingers putting their arms in the baby grows at first. I was very careful at placing them into their beds which are cleverly crafted from the cardboard packaging! It’s just a shame the single doll packs don’t come with a scrap of fabric for a blanket. They must get chilly at night!

I was sent the Kid Creations Tinsy Winsy Weeny Tots baby dolls and Out & About accessory set to review too. The set includes a baby in an all-in-one outfit called ‘Jasmine’, a pram, a changing bag, changing mat and fabric nappy. The plastic pram has wheels, a handle and you can also detach the wheels and use it as a cot. The pram is well made with a plastic body and a fabric hood with a butterfly pattern. I liked the actions of the folding hood, moving handles and the turning wheels. It’s nice that both pink and blue was incorporated into the packaging and designs.

I also received the pink ‘Millie’ doll which comes with a super soft fluffy sleep suit with bunny ears and ‘Mason’ who was dressed in blue. Both the dolls have different facial expressions. One is gurgling while the other is fast asleep. The doll ‘Jasmine’ who comes with the Out & About set has her eyes open!

Tinsy Winsy Weeny Tots Dolls are available to purchase from Smyths Toys and are suitable for ages 3 – 7 years. The first collection is limited edition. The individual dolls cost £7.99 each and the Pram Accessory Playlet costs £14.99. Some of the dolls baby grows are animal themed too which is a nice touch and I can’t wait to buy the penguin one!

Also available is the Bedtime Accessory Set (£14.99) and it comes with a plastic bed with working drawers, a hanging mobile, fabric bedding and a cute sleeping doll which is exclusive to the set. We think they’d be great for Father Christmas to put in children’s stockings this year!

What do you think of the Tinsy Winsy Weeny tots dolls? I wonder how many I can take around to Grandma’s house now!! 😉

Love Bella x

  1. These are so cute, I know my niece would love them as much as you, and I have been wondering what to get her for Christmas!… I have to agree with you though, I think they need a blanket too, hope you found them one! 🙂

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such detail on such small dolls, it’s so unique! I was always a fan of realistic dolls growing up, so I would have loved these!

  3. I can’t believe how tiny these are. My niece has just started getting in to playing with dolls, and she would love these.
