Dear Mummy, we had such an amazing time at Disney on Ice last year that we are heading back to Wembley this month for the new 2017 show. The Disney on Ice – Passport to Adventure 2017 show has been touring the UK and will finally be in London from 20th – 30th December and we cannot wait to go and see it!
Mickey, Minnie and the gang are going on a fun-filled adventure with their passports through some memorable Disney destinations from around the world. I can’t wait to travel with them without leaving my seat and with morning, matinee and evening performances, the show is a perfect way to add an extra special bit of sparkle to the Christmas period.
As a massive Lion King fan I’m excited at the prospect of touring the African Pride Lands with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa. It’s amazing that they can skate in full costume and my folks are always in awe of the performers. Ariel’s mystical underwater kingdom is waiting for me and I can’t wait to swim under the sea and meet all her friends. But its Peter Pan that I most excited to see, as he fly’s with Wendy to Neverland and battles Captain Hook with Tinker Bell, my favourite fairy.
We always enjoy the audience participate at events like this and the show starts with a Fit to Dance pre-show featuring the characters from Zootropolis. It’s great to get all that excess energy burnt off before settled down with some popcorn to enjoy the show. The Disney On Ice show lasts 2 hours with a 15 minute interval, and is recommended for children over two. Under twos go free on laps and shows run at family friendly time slots of 10.30, 2.30 and 6.30.
We can’t wait to be transported to the wintery wonderland of Disney’s Frozen, with blue lights and dry ice covering the rink in the arena like a blanket of snow. Anna and Elsa will take us on a journey to discover that true love is the most magical power of all. I can’t wait to sing my favourite song ‘Let it Go’, though I’m not sure my mummy and daddy will be as happy hearing it for the 100th time!
Disney on Ice is a lovely alternatively to a Christmas Pantomime this season and after last year it’s easy to see why. We can’t wait to see these larger than life characters perform jaw dropping stunts and beautiful choreographed dancing on ice. I love dressing up in my favourite Disney costume and pretending to be part of the show.
Disney on Ice – Passport to Adventure will be at The O2 from 20th – 30th December. To find out more and book tickets head to the Disney on Ice website.
