Dear Mummy, we love chocolate but if the Easter season leaves you feeling and looking like an Easter egg then look no further than Biscuiteers! A great alternative to all the chocolate floating around in the shops this season. Biscuiteers is a London-based company, specialising in bespoke gift biscuits. They produce wonderful themed biscuit tins and perfectly hand-iced creations in cards that can be posted through the letterbox.
We were on the hunt for some Peter Rabbit goodies and as the new film is out at the cinema. The highstreet is full of Beatrix Potter gifts and we wanted to fully immerse ourselves in the Peter Rabbit frenzy. We discovered this amazing biscuit selection from Biscuiteers and fell in love with it straight away. From the minute we opened the box it felt like an extra special treat. The biscuits are completely hand decorated and vanilla flavoured and look just like the characters from the books.
The biscuits are almost too pretty to eat with lovely pastel icing and the tin contained 16 detailed treats. The biscuits are packaged really well and are stuck on with icing in layered sheets, so they won’t move or break before they reach their destination and are a decent size with the smallest being 3cms approx and the largest nearly 6cms! They made the perfect accompaniment to a cup of hot chocolate at bedtime and a reading of The Tale of Peter Rabbit.
The biscuits arrived in a hand illustrated tin which makes a lovely keepsake to store bits and bobs in afterwards! Each biscuit works out at £3 before discount and would make a very generous gift or great party favour. It took us over a week to eat them all and I enjoyed them at home and on a trip to see the film at the cinema, leaving Peter Rabbit, Tom Kitten and Jemima Puddleduck until the end as they were my favourites.
The large biscuit tin is £50, so this is definitely one for a very special occasion, we bought ours with a customer discount code, so saved a little bit of money too. The ranges actually start from £6.00, so there are lots of options for every budget. From themed biscuit cards, to biscuit tins and charity boxes there is literally something for everyone. You can order before 1pm for next day delivery too, so there’s still time to get your order in for Easter. We love browsing their website as the ranges of designs change seasonally too.
I’m going to keep the box as a memory box and store all my Easter treats inside and Peter Rabbit notecards from Paperchase. Have you seen the new Peter Rabbit film yet? Let me know what your favourite biscuit character is in the comments! Have you tried Biscuiteers biscuits before?
Love Bella x
Disclosure: We weren’t paid or offered any freebies from Biscuiteers, we loved the biscuits so much we just had to share with you, crumbs and all!
