Dear Mummy, dragon fever has hit our household! The brand new How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World has just landed at cinemas and we couldn’t wait to see the third instalment of this fab film. The first film came out while I was in my mummy’s tummy, so I’ve been re-watching all the films with her, over and over and over again!!
We even recently started watching the HTTYD series on Netflix and its a great animation. The storyline has really captured my imagination so I was thrilled when my folks took me to see the new film and surprised me with some How to Train Your Dragon soft toys kindly sent to us to review.
The Posh Paws range of plushes includes small, medium and large versions of the dragons in the film. The characters include Toothless, Barf and Belch, Hookfang, Stormfly and new Light Fury who I was recently introduced to and loved instantly. As you can tell I was over the moon to get these soft toys! In fact I was so happy that Toothless even came along for the screening at the cinema!
The Posh Paws range also includes:
• Bag Clips – £5.99
• Night Lights (18cm) – £8.99
• Medium Plush (32cm) – £16.99
• Large plush (61cm) – £29.99
Medium Plush (16.99)
I like that the medium and large soft toys come with glow-in-the dark features, including their wings, badges and eyes, to really bring each dragon to life. We have never seen this in a soft toy before and I was amazed that I could see them in the dark.
They make great companions at bedtime and keep me safe from Grimmel the dragon hunter. I was lucky enough to get the Toothless medium plush with patterned wings that glow in the dark. Check them out in action!
At 32cm long and priced at just £16.99 they are perfect for my little hands and come on a nice presentation stand if you want to reuse the packaging that way. You can also get them in a larger size which are double the length at 61cm and these are £29.99. That’s bigger than my head!! I’m now on the hunt for a Light Fury to go with my Toothless!
Bag Clips (£5.99)
In addition to collectible plush, the Posh Paws range also includes soft toy bag clips, so fans like me can wear their favourite dragons on the go. Perfect for my school bag.
The bag clips are quite big and easy for little hand to un-clip and move around. We got Hookfang, the rebel dragon. A bit like me he doesn’t always listen to his rider and is very strong-willed! At £5.99 they make great pocket-money toys and we can see a lot of dragon battles happening in playgrounds up and down the country.
The Posh Paws’ How to Train you Dragon: The Hidden World collection is available now from all good toy shops like Symths, Hamleys and Harrods. You can even find them in Clintons and online at Amazon. Also available in the range are 18cm night lights which are priced at £8.99.
So what do you think of these adorable toys?
