My first LUSH Spring Party!

Dear Mummy, with Mother’s Day on the way I’m on the hunt for the perfect present for you. I know you love LUSH and we always visit our local store when in town to have a browse through the colourful displays.

With all the Easter LUSH goodies!

LUSH Basingstoke held a fabulous Spring Party recently and it’s not often I get invited to a bloggers event. I joined my mummy at a lovely pamper evening where we got to try out some new products and even make some!

It was the perfect opportunity to bond with my mummy and have girl time! I felt like a real little grown-up. My mummy doesn’t get much opportunity to kick back and relax, so leaving me to explore the store with staff while she chatted to friends and discovered new bath treats was a nice experience.

The LUSH staff were on hand to show me some bath products and we played with soap, bubbles, foam and masks. The scent was wonderful in the shop and it was a real visual treat for my senses. I was a bit like a kid let loose in a chocolate shop, I had the freedom to touch, sniff and mould to my hearts desire.

Cool Easter Treats in store

Friendly staff headed up by Emily talked us through the format of the evening and what to expect at the party. Spring is on its way, and that means one thing: Easter. However Spring isn’t just about chocolate. It’s about rejuvenating, refreshing and having a bit of a Spring clean. What better way to do so than with a good ol’ scrub with uplifting bubbles!

My mummy and I were shown some new bath bombs and I was amazed at the swirling, fizzling colours of the exploding bath bombs in the demonstrations.

Testing out the Mamma Mia Shower Scrub

I was treated to an arm massage by Alex, who was great with kids and very knowledgeable about the products. I tried Mamma Mia Shower Scrub and it felt funny but nice at the same time. It was great to get hands on with the exciting new Easter and Mother’s Day ranges!

I also had the opportunity to make a Comforter Bubble Bar to take home with me, so donned my blue gloves and got stuck in!

I was amazed at how bright and colourful the displays were and the staff treated me really well. I had the freedom to explore and play in the store. I was Forever Blowing Bubbles with the green Reusable Bubble Bar wand! I also helped myself to fresh fruit snacks making sure to NOT eat the face masks!!

Having a relaxing arm and hand massage

I had a relaxing arm and hand massage using Shimmy Shimmy, which relaxed me before I headed home to bed. I also shone like a disco ball afterwards much to my mummy’s amusement!

Discovering Easter Treats

With Easter on its way these LUSH treats make a nice alternative to chocolate eggs and with plenty of  hidden surprises inside their Bunny Eggs/Lamb and Dinosaur Eggs, we’ll be opting to have something that will last longer.
