Dear Mummy, I’m so excited as the second series of Rainbocorns has been released and this time they come with even more surprises! Being a toy reviewer I love catching a first look at new toys especially ones as colourful as these!
We were kindly sent two Rainbocorns Series 2 Sequin Surprise from Zuru Toys to unbox and review. I was so excited when the box arrived all the way from Hong Kong! Rainbocorns are squishy soft toys and look like a mixture of unicorns and animals. They have a magic reveal sequin tummy and hatch from a big surprise egg!
They are my dream toy! Combining all my loves, soft toys, surprise eggs and unicorns with lots of sparkle! The Rainbocorns come in a huge reusable teal plastic egg. It’s easy for little ones like me to remove the plastic wrap from the egg and thankfully theres not as much packaging waste compared to other surprise toys. The removable sequin heart can be brushed to reveal a secret symbol which tells you which character you have inside!
There are 13 new Rainbocorns characters to collect including two Llamacorns, Pandacorns, Flamingocorns, Lioncorns, Unicorns, Owlcorns and a rare gold Flamingocorn. You can see the colours of the sequins on the front of the egg so you can avoid duplicates too. The sequin heart can reseal the egg and can be worn as an accessory as it has a clip on the back.
Our Rainbocorn egg had blue sequins which revealed a snowflake after being brushed! We also had a little hint sheet which had glasses on and I guessed correctly that it was Owlcorn. We also opened up a super cute Lioncorn with a crown sequin heart – check out our video below to see the hatching!
The large egg splits into two pieces and there are 10 layers to discover! Also inside the egg, you get some Rainbocorn poop slime, some stickers, a mystery accessory (we got a bracelet) and a collectible baby Boo-Boocorn character. There are over 50 different little Boo-Boocorns to collect. These come inside small plastic eggs and can be used as pencil toppers and even colour change in water. This egg is great value for money at £24.99 and you get so many goodies inside. It would make a great birthday and christmas present!

Oh my gosh, she is so natural to review this toy box. I love both the flamingo and the unicorn. Really hard to make a choice which to get.
