Dear Mummy, I’m a massive Peppa Pig fan and have been watching these fun cartoons on telly for as long as I can remember. This year Peppa is celebrating her 15th Anniversary and I’ve been sent a fantastic toy to review.

I couldn’t wait to open this Peppa Pig Stage Playset from Character Options and it’s perfect for little ones like me to re-enact my favourite episodes or even create a show of my own.

It has everything you need, including a stage which houses three double-sided backdrop cards creating six different scenes. These interchangeable backdrops include Peppa’s Kitchen, outside Peppa’s House, Peppa’s Classroom, a wintery Christmas scene, Christmas Day at Peppa’s House and a Knight’s Castle. You can also make your own backdrops and insert them into the stage playset by using the cardboard packaging as a guide.

I also like that it comes with Peppa and George figures and theatre seats for them to sit to watch the show! There’s a removable stage sound box with 12 different sound effects including the Peppa Pig theme tune, magical swirls, audience clapping and character laughter. 2 x AAA Batteries are included with the toy. There’s also a secret hidden drawer which allows you to pack away all the accessories, this makes my mummy very happy! Especially as there’s lots of cardboard cutouts, props and a moving gripper to help with costume changes.

But the best bit for me is that the stage frame doubles up as an instant cinema. You can slide a tablet/iPad in (not included) and put on your favourite movie and watch with your friends! How cool is that. Great for my cinema nights!
