Dear Mummy, now is the perfect time to invest in wet weather gear for children. We’re big fans of all-in-one puddle suits for kids! They are practical, can be folded away easily and great for families on the move.
Presently rain is stopping play, I’ve grown out of my last rain suit and with the January sales still online it’s the perfect time to invest in this outdoor necessity.
We usually have one clipped onto our rucksack and a spare one in the boot just incase. As we visit a lot of National Trust properties and woodlands, puddle suits are great to protect me from the elements.
I can’t wait to get back out there!
Soon will be in older children’s wet weather gear so we’re having a lot of fun researching these waterproof onesies.

Love these – puddle suits are a must-have for us too – I bought the girls one each 18 months ago and they are still getting wear out of the regularly! I love the pink Regatta one and am quite tempted to get the girls a new one each.

These are a great idea, all kids love jumping in puddles don’t they? Mine are too old for these now – well, not sure they are the done thing for a 10 year old! I never had anything like this for them, they used to just get sopping wet!
We wish they did them for older children!
I’m not a parent myself so hadn’t heard of these, a waterproof onesie! Such a brilliant idea, something my 2 year old nephew definitely needs! x

I think they are all definitely funky, but I do love the first spotty one and the pink one with ears x

Yeah! We can’t believe the ladybird one is from M&S!!
So practical aren’t they? When you have the right gear there’s nothing to stop you going out whatever the weather.
My 4 year old keeps complaining that his legs are cold on the walk to and from school so one of these could be just the thing!
I love puddle/ splash suits it means you do not have to worry about your little one splashing about and running around having in fun in puddles. I haven’t seen any of these funky patterns about, I have just ordered my daughter a plain pink one.
