It’s awards season….again!

It’s the blogging awards season.

Dear mummy, we’re a bit apprehensive…. we’re going into uncharted territory. We’re asking you guys for something….votes.

Blogging Awards

This is the first year we’ve really seriously thought about entering the Brilliance in Blogging (BiBs) and MADs awards as we hate competitions and left it too late last year – urgh. Actually, last year left us feeling deflated and down in the dumps that we actually made our own award up! Vowing to never go near awards again….with so many amazing blogs out there we don’t think we stand a chance of winning, but you have to put yourself out there right? Maybe now is the time to bite the bullet.

If you have enjoyed reading our little blog we’d sure appreciate some votes for the Brilliance in Blogging and MADs awards.

Both my folks and I put a lot of love and attention into this blog – it’s our hobby and we squeeze as much out of the day as we can to write, and to be nominated for an award would be the reassurance that people are reading our adventures and enjoy them as much as we like writing them!

Blogging Awards

I’m a toddler that blogs, which is a bit of an interesting concept for parenting bloggers, this separates us from the rest of the nominated participates who mainly write as mothers and not through a child’s eyes. This hopefully can work to our advantage….hopefully.

Mums in the Know

We’ve made leaps and bounds in the past year becoming brand ambassadors for a couple of companies, super bloggers for MITK and entering the dizzying heights of the Top 500 in Tots100…. So nows our chance, it’s not going to get much better than this? Right??

So we love to be nominated this year for either of the awards – or both if you think I’m worthy!

We’d be really grateful if you have a moment to vote for Dear Mummy Blog in the Best Pre-School Blog or Writer category – I am a toddler that blogs after all.

  1. Good luck with the nominations! I will definitely be checking your recommendations out too as I still need to vote;)

  2. Good luck! You’re absolutely right putting yourself forward. If there was an award for Best Toddler Blog, you’d win for sure! 🙂

  3. good luck! there are some amazing bloggers out there but I think your perspective will seperate you 🙂 I am not planning on participating this year, so I might pop along and nominate 🙂

  4. You are right in thinking to put yourself out there otherwise nobody will know you would like to be nominated and in which categories. It is actually hard to do it but I also think that it should worth it. There are so many blogs out there that is very difficult to choose. I also put myself forward this year but I’m feeling very scared at the moment. Good luck with the nominations, 🙂 xx

  5. I’ve loved watching your blog develop this year, I’ve seen it in your Country Kids posts, your writing style, your photos, it’s all moving forward as fast as Bella grows. You so deserve a turn at the big time, I hope this is your year to shine. I’m beyond thrilled that you have thought of me too, thank you so very much xx

    1. Thanks Fiona, blogging has been a steep learning curve and we’re glad we’ve grown and people can see the positive change in our little blog! 🙂 thanks for your lovely comment x now might be our time….

  6. Ooh, all this talk of blog awards is making me nervous and I’m not even entering. Good luck! I’ll need to actually think about voting.

  7. Best of luck to you lovely! This is my first award season & it’s a little overwhelming. One year ago yesterday my blog went live – so I had no idea about the awards until the short lists were out. And then I didn’t know what they were except I kept seeing them on blogs & social media. It’s exciting to be nominated! I’m sure you will do really well this year! Thanks so much for linking up with us! #bloggerclubuk x
